The “Rue du Pont Galerie et Studio” is a showcase for a mixture of talented local artists located in the historic district of Breaux Bridge, La.  The Gallery building is on the National Historic Register and it holds its place as a vibrant member of a thriving artistic community that enjoys an unhurried pace.  Located across the street from Café des Amis on E. Bridge Street, it’s the perfect place for all who appreciate art to spend some time in a relaxed, comfortable and inspiring atmosphere where they can allow themselves to breath freely and embrace creativity. 

A goal of the gallery is to help artists of all ages connect with private collectors and the public at large.  There is a mixture of painting styles available including both contemporary and traditional styles.  The works of Lue Svendson, Sidney Creaghan and Eric Svendson are displayed along with select pieces from a featured visiting artist that is regularly scheduled on a monthly to six weeks rotational basis. 

Seeing clients excited over a particular piece of art, feeling connected with that piece on a personal level and then decide that they must take it home with them to enjoy and admire is a rewarding experience.   Bringing art into people’s lives is an inspiring endeavor, which yields both emotional and tangible benefits for my clients and myself.  I invite you to stop by the gallery and see what we have to enliven your senses.
