RIVER BIRCH REFLECTIONS

Nothing like the start of the day

here in Louisiana.

The pinks and greens coupled

together always bring a sense of

new beginnings and the light airiness of joy.

It’s these emotions I try to capture

while I’m painting.

I think of the serenity I feel

while I am out experiencing nature,

and it brings me joy to feel

that these paintings might bring

that same sense of calm

to any room they sit in.
